MATERIALS

The master craftsmen have drawn green and brown lines on the transparent resin to recreate the unique colour effects of the Tuscan countryside. The intricate workmanship of precious materials required to construct this demonstrator pen makes the Homo Sapiens Tuscan Hills fountain pen a true collector’s item.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each writing instrument is made and polished in our Visconti workshop. Because the pen is a Demonstrator model and therefore partly see-through, all the resin components have to be minutely and manually polished both on the outside and the inside with little felt polishing tools.

CLOSING SYSTEM

The Homo Sapiens Tuscan Hills pen uses the patented Visconti hook safe capping mechanism which prevents the cap from accidentally unscrewing itself and leaking in your pocket. The pen features Visconti’s patented Double Reservoir Power Filler, a unique filling system that helps avoid leakages on flights and increases the pen’s ink capacity.
