The Opera Master Polynesia fountain pen takes its inspiration from the southern Pacific islands’ atmosphere. It is one of Visconti’s greatest technical masterpieces.
The Polynesia fountain pen takes its lines and shape from the iconic Opera Master collection with the added technical benefits of a double reservoir filling system, a hook safe lock closing mechanism, and a transparent body.
All the pen’s separate parts are made in our Florence workshop and carefully hand-polished inside and out, one by one. The complicated and lengthy polishing techniques our artisans use, create a magical effect, completely free of imperfections.
Our designers wanted to use the sea as inspiration once more. The pen’s colours conjure images of islands full of lush vegetation, white beaches and the crystal clear waters so loved by Paul Gauguin.
This collection is one of our technical masterpieces. It has taken the hard work of our expert craftsmen to recreate the swirls of Polynesian colours in the pen’s transparent resin body. This beautiful writing instrument comes fitted with Visconti’s highly performant double reservoir filling system and hook safe lock closing mechanism.

Visconti’s history began in Florence, Italy. A cradle of art and culture, Florence also known for being home to one of the Country’s largest industrial districts for luxury and fashion.
The company is the brainchild of Luigi Poli and Dante del Vecchio, two friends who met in Florence and decided to turn a common passion into business by founding Visconti on October 20, 1988.
On that date, luxury writing instruments began to make their way in a city that was strongly linked to jewellery, leather goods and any other form of art. Over time, Visconti products became iconic pieces that helped to spread Italian values worldwide: design and creativity, craftsmanship and innovation, quality and luxury.
