INGRES paper, originally, was developed in the 17th century by the French neoclassical artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. Although Ingres papers today differ from those used by the artist, the laid mesh that characterizes them remains intact. The laid effect creates a fine grain of tight lines on one side and a marbled surface on the other. This paper is mainly used in the field of Fine Arts and in particular for the charcoal technique. It is particularly appreciated in the book and framing arts for its old appearance. This beautiful material is available with a lot of sobriety and naturalness on the stationery products of this collection. Let yourself be seduced by the two-tone staging on both sides of its color palette with sandblasted or marbled effects.
