Dokumentus is the world’s first fountain pen ink conforming to the resistance requirements of DIN ISO 12757-2. It has been tested by the „Papiertechnische Stiftung Heidenau“ (Paper Technology Foundation in Heidenau), an independent standards body which has certified that this ink can be used by registrars for official documents. 50ml

This set offers an assortment of five Essential Inks with soft and bewitching tones:  Bleu de minuit Gris de Houle Terre d’ombre Ambre de Baltique Bleu Austral 5 x 15ml

Terre d’Ombre is a brown, "burnt earth" colour ink, adorned with fallow tones as well as reddish highlights. Beautifully intense, Terre d’Ombre is a sophisticated and warm writing ink. This ink is available in standard large format cartridges. 7 cartridges

Violet Boréal allows you to dip your nib in the violet glows of the aurora borealis. It is a dark, deep purple ink. Violet Boréal is an ink made for confidence or meditation, it is also classic and perfect for writing. Red is the colour of colours : it is the symbol of power in Antiquity, happiness in China or passion today. Rouge d’Orient is at the same time a dark and vibrant shade, and has a royal intensity. Bleu Nuit (Night Blue): this is the darkest color after the "perle noire" ink. A color symbol of the sky at night when bursting with stars in the summertime. 6 standard 38mm cartridges

Vert de Gris (Verdigris): the originality of the color is based on both gray and green tones. From the corrosion of copper, greyish combines with both light and dark colors for a rendering of both soft and deep writing. 6 standard 38mm cartridges

Rouille d’ancre (Anchor Rust): this color also refers to the journeys of Herbin, when traveling at sea. This color comes from the rust found on the anchor of the boats when moored in one location for a very long time. Bottle 30 ml

Lie de Thé (Tea Lees): a subtle brown with soft shades whose name symbolizes the tea from Orient. Bottle 30 ml

Rouge Caroubier (Carob Red): the caroubier is a tree measuring from 5 to 7 meters and can reach 15 meters exceptionally. It is cultivated for its fruit, the carob. Bottle 30 ml

Bleu de Minuit is the darkest colour available apart from Noir Abyssal ink. It is a deep, dark blue, evoking a starry night. This celestial colour is emblematic of the Jacques Herbin Collection. Poussière de Lune (Moon Dust): a very poetic name, the color of the night when only the crescent moon is glowing in the dark. Bottle 30 ml
