The REALO fountain pen is made of acrylics and and is based on the large 1911 fountain pen. The pen uses the piston converter filling system and has a "window" through which you can check the ink level.

All the nibs of the 1911 Full-Size (Large) are made of 21 carat gold, which gives them a very smooth feel on paper. The 21 carat gold, but also the polishing of the tip of the nib in iridium which protects the gold, make this nib an exceptional piece in the world of gold nibs.
