They can be used concentrated or diluted. 4 fluorescent and 4 pigmented inks are opaque and covering. They are best used concentrated. The Indian ink rich in pigment and shellac, is opaque, indelible and resistant to water and light. This ink becomes shiny when it dries. About Jacques Herbin

The Herbin company, manufacturer of sealing wax, was founded in 1670 during the reign of Louis XIV. It is also the oldest brand of ink in the world.
