The family Amatruda produced paper since the 13th century. On their oldest watermark " Amatrulo" you can see three Angeline lilies. This tends to show that the Amatruda family has already produced paper during the domination of the Angevins in the "Kingdom of the Two Sicilys" (1282-1442).
Established in Iserlohn (North Rhine-Westphalia) since 1850, Brause produces feathers to write, draw and decorate.
The quality of the handicrafts makes it possible to have feathers of great finesse.
Each feather thus has its own qualities and can be classified according to two criteria: flexibility and finesse.
In 1557, when François de Guise armed a troop to retake the kingdom of Naples from the Spaniards, at a time when tensions reigned between Catholics and Protestants, Jacques Montgolfier, a papermaker from Ambert, left his native Auvergne to settle in Beaujolais.
This was the beginning of the geographical expansion of this family which, for several centuries, created a large number of paper mills.
Manufacturers since 1864, Diamine Inks relocated in 1925 to Liverpool considered "the place specialized in the construction of art factories", where they continued to successfully use traditional methods and formulas in the production of inks. It was at the beginning of the Meiji era that European match-making techniques were introduced in Japan.
Then, thanks to their quality, Japanese matches became an export product.
In particular, the area between Kobe and Himeji with the Port of Kobe and foreign-run trading houses has flourished as a trading hub for matches.
It was in 1929 that Kobe Match was founded in Himeji, where matchmaking remains a local industry to this day.
"We have to pass on the history of the match, even if the matches do not play the leading role."
Incense (incense sticks, etc.) made on the island of Awaji, where a pleasant smell of aromatic wood floats, accounts for about 70% of Japan's domestic production. The incense-making techniques introduced from Sakai in 1850 were anchored on this island thanks to the westerly wind ideal for drying incense.
Daihatsu has a long history in making incense on the island of Awaji.
From the beginning of its creation in 1936 in Sakai, it manufactured innovative products such as incense with aromatic materials made by a French perfumery.
Two companies from two traditional Hyogo industries - Awaji Island incense and Harima matches - met in 2011.
The strength of the match and the aromatic quality of the incense, the choice of scents corresponding to the image of the new brand, the choice of the name of the products and the development of a packaging embodying the Japanese sensibility... everything is studied to propose a new way to enjoy scents.
Meaning of name and logo

The creation of l'artisan pastellier was born from the fusion of a talent of chemical engineer and a heritage reborn with natural colors and dyes, in the region of Albige.
The specificity of l'artisan pastellier is to offer its customers various authentic products based on natural, mineral and vegetable colors, available in ranges for the arts and decoration.
Pastel blue is the brand's flagship product, given the historical importance of this dye in our local and regional history.
Manufacturing is distinguished by a know-how guaranteeing the original and artisanal character of the products, and their "high-end" quality in respect and knowledge of European environmental standards.
Thus, l'artisan pastellier does not use solvent, and favors natural colors, but also the "recipes" used in the past; raw materials are therefore mostly natural.

The history of Crown Mill has its roots in the modernist momentum of the Renaissance. It all began in 1478 when Emperor Maximilian allowed the monks of the Monastery of La Hulpe, Belgium, to build a mill on the banks of a tiny river beautifully named Argentina. Two centuries later, on the orders of King Charles II, this water mill became the Royal Manufacture of stationery.

For Lee and Jeong (co-founders), a plant can be at the center of everyone's life, influencing their race, attitudes and relationships. "It can replace a television set, for example, and determine how we spend our time after work, how we approach work and who we meet, even," Lee said.
It is in this philosophy that Lee and Jeong approach their work as a kind of prescribed diet requiring face-to-face consultations and close follow-up.
What should have been, is. What should have been, is.
The link between stationery and men was born when they first used a stick to draw on the floor. This link has never ceased to evolve with the times.
We are now rethinking this evolution.
Our goal is to eliminate the superfluous and get back to basics.
